About the Gallery

Metropolitan Gallery is Located in the Clarendon section of Arlington, VA an urban village that retains much of its mid-20th century charm despite its proximity to Washington DC. (The Gallery is located only 2 miles from the White House and Georgetown and steps away from the Courthouse Metro stop on the Orange Line).

The Gallery was established in 1993 in conjunction with Claren Court Studio, Inc. which provides framing, mirror design restoration and other art related services. The Gallery exhibits contemporary American realism and representational works from established artists and constantly searches for outstanding works by emerging talent. The exhibit calendar includes both individual artist and group shows and includes a multi-artist, multi-style Holiday Exhibit the second week in December.

Metropolitan Gallery provides experienced collectors and anyone with an interest in original art a resource for fine paintings that are excellent acquisitions. The atmosphere is inviting and quietly casual.
